Isla Gecko is a charming guesthouse tucked away in a narrow lane, just a few minutes' walk from the beautiful White Beach. The owner and staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, adding a personal touch to my stay. While the rooms were basic and a bit on the small side, they were clean and comfortable for the price. The breakfast was decent, although not a huge selection. Overall, it's a great value for money, especially considering its location and the welcoming atmosphere, but it lacks a few amenities that could enhance the experience.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and clean, giving me a stunning view of the beach from the terrace. It was conveniently located just a couple of minutes from dmall and close to the white beach. The staff went above and beyond to help out, making my stay even more enjoyable. However, I did notice some noise from adjoining rooms at times, which might be an issue for light sleepers. Overall, it provided great value for money.

I just returned from my third visit to Boracay, and once again, I chose to stay at Isla Gecko. They’ve recently completed renovations, and I loved the new rooms that are spacious with slide-out beds for families. While the staff was friendly and the breakfast was decent, some experiences left me wanting. The location is a bit misleading, being further from the beach than advertised, and the dining options could use some improvement. Overall, it's a good budget choice, but there are definitely some drawbacks.
